How we think

The aim of our Daycare is to provide Children with a structured environment where their needs and requirements are satisfied as well as giving the children space to explore and develop their skills more profoundly. Our Daycare allows the children to play, learn and gather vital skills in the areas of social and emotional development as well as further developing their motor skills. We provide the children with sequences of play and activities that are guided as well as sequences of Free play. It is very important to us that each child lives in up to his or her individuality and can make his or her world a reality! Each Child will be supported and encouraged to their own skill level, however not over and beyond their skill level. In our warm, loving and colorful environment the children can develop and explore their surrounds without force or punishment. The welfare of the children is very high on our agenda and therefore we do not use any measurement of discipline that in any way, shape or form will hamper a Childs and his or her development.

Our Educational Belief

  • We take all children seriously

  • We understand and take a child’s feeling into consideraten

  • We support and encourage the children to be self-sufficient and have trust in themselves

  • We support a child’s self-respect and self-esteem

  • We support and encourage all children in and around their own skill level, without ‘’overstepping’’ their skill level

  • We safeguard the children and help them in areas that they are less competent in

  • We help the children to further develop in the areas of: Social competence, competence in “Doing” as well as in their self sufficiency skills

  • We support and help to further develop a child’s spoken and motor skills

  • We offer a caring and warm environment for all children

  • With love and empathy we commit to supporting each child as an individual

  • The atmosphere at Daycare is one of welcoming, encouragement and understanding

  • In situations of danger (in daycare or on an outing or walk) we are prepared and react and respond safely and correctly

  • We are an environmentally friendly daycare…we want our planet to be a beautiful place for a long time to come
